So, for the past 3 weeks, I have been in Denver, CO., looking after my sick mother. One or two days after I got here, I took a little tour of the northeast side of town where my GPS said there was a rail yard. I wound up finding a UP streamliner.
Today, I went back there on my way to visit the Forney Transportation Museum. If you're ever in Denver with a few hours to spend, I highly recommend going there. While en-route, I was able to photograph a GP 15 I had previously seen during the prior visit. I took a TON of photos at the museum. I will be posting them as well as a batch of pictures I took at the Denver Zoo over the next few days.
The most interesting thing that happened today was seeing not one, but two (TWO!) old Cornbinders. International Harvester hasn't been in the light truck business since 1980. To see 2 IH SUVs within 300 yards of each other within less 5 minutes... Must be a sign. I'll be posting them to IHProud shortly. Right now, the pictures are uploading from my memory card to my computer.

Can I Haz Paycheck? Pt 2
After serving in the US Military for over 20 years, I retired in late 2013. Since then, I really haven't held a job.
But now I do. Earlier this week, I obtained a Class B Commercial Drivers License. I've just started driving a school bus in my hometown. It's a bit of a challenge as far as job performance goes, but I feel I'm fully up to the task. Training to acquire my new license went quite well. I'm pretty sure my military time, often spent driving some of the biggest wheeled vehicles Uncle Sam had to offer only helped me. I've driven vehicles just as large and unwieldy as a school bus before.
The yardstick my job performance is measure
Can I Haz Paycheck?
For far too long now, I have been unemployed. This week, I managed to acquire my Class B CDL learners permit. This morning, I received a call from the local coop bus barn that my training begins Monday morning.
I am about to have a full time job again.YAY!
Turkey Day
It's the fourth Thursday in November. For everyone in or from the USA,
Happy Thanksgiving. For everyone else, happy Thursday.
This song is a Thanksgiving tradition at all of the radio stations I've ever bothered listening to.
Eclipse!
I drove down to Oregon to see the eclipse. I'm an amateur photographer whose camera also does video. So I filmed it.
